We’ve given the Maltby Running Club website a face lift! Hopefully you will find it easier to navigate around the site and find the information you need, whether you are a member of Maltby Running Club or a runner looking for races to enter.

As ever we welcome your comments and suggestions so that the website remains  useful and informative.

Bawtry Forest Trail Race – online entries open

This year’s Bawtry Forest Trail Race will take place on Sunday 8th September at 10.30am. Online entries are now open – please follow this link:

Alternatively you can navigate to the Run Britain website and type in “Bawtry” in the keyword box.

Race entry limit is 300. T shirt, goody bag and prizes.

Family run is on the same day, starting at 10.45am. Entry on day only is £3 per runner. Trophies for first girl/boy/family. Mementoes for all runners.

We are pleased to be supporting the British Heart Foundation again this year.

The caps have arrived! Green caps with club logo are now available for £5. Ideal for Spring/Summer running. First come first served! Please let me know if you want one.

MRC race dates 2019

Get these dates in your diary so you don’t miss them. As ever, we support grass roots running and put on brilliant trail races that are fun, low cost and good value. Our post race buffets and goody bags are legendary, as is our philanthropy. We are proud to support charities such as The British Heart Foundation and The Bubble Foundation.

Note that for the 2019 Bawtry Forest Race entry will be online. Keep a lookout for a further announcement of when entries will open.

Memorial race:  Wednesday 1 May
Abbey dash: Wednesday 3 July
Butcher’s dog leg:  Thursday 1 August
Bawtry Forest Trail Race: Sunday 8 September
Braithwell Boxing Day race:  Thursday 26 December.
