The Idle Dash

A great turn out for the Idle Dash today! Here is a link to the results Idle Dash 2018 results

Photos will follow shortly but there are already loads on the Idle Dash facebook page.

Thank you to all runners who came along, and to everyone who helped marshal, cater, clear brambles, set out signs and clear up afterwards. A great team effort and one which encapsulates what I love about this club.

The Idle Dash is a 7k trail race which takes place in the countryside around the village of Misson, near Bawtry. Out through the woods and back along the River Idle, the route is traffic free and more or less flat. It would be a good pb course were it not for the muddy sections. The race is in support of Frack Free Misson, which is a local community group aiming to raise awareness of and monitor fracking operations in the area.

The race starts at 11am on Sunday 15th April 2018. Race HQ is the Village Hall, Vicar Lane, Misson, DN10 6EG.

Postal entry in advance or enter on the day – it’s the same price at £5 for England Athletics registered runners and £7 for non registered runners. Minimum age limit is 15.

Prizes in senior and age categories plus a post race buffet at the village hall.
